2009 Fashion A Cure Contest Winner
In this amazing contest, entrants were asked to submit an essay about how they would raise money for the National Breast Cancer Foundation as the most famous fashion designer in the world! In 150 words (or less) they were asked to describe their idea for a fundraising program, utilizing their celeb status.
There were many wonderfully creative, well thought out ideas submitted and Raven M. from Highlands Ranch, Colorado was selected as the Fashion A Cure Contest Winner!
Excerpt from Raven's Essay:
"...My idea would be to sell tickets for a world block party tour. The tour would stop at the world's fashion capitals New York, Paris, Milan, London, and Tokyo. The block party would feature mammograms, seminars on breast cancer awareness and prevention, eclectic foods, and world famous musicians. Being an A-List celebrity, I would use my name to get influential speakers for the tour..."
